  • PassSecurium™ uses two-factor authentication and biometrics for access, making it impossible to hack the account using brute force attacks. In addition, all data is encrypted using the zero-knowledge concept.

 

With PassSecurium™ you can:

The data storage is located exclusively on Swiss servers in modern data centres in the centre of Switzerland. The good location and optimal backbone connection guarantee the carefree accessibility of data and services. The entire infrastructure is designed to be redundant and fail-safe, thus offering the highest data security.

You can buy PassSecurium™ by ordering on our website or upgrade your subscription in the Customer Portal. Three payment methods are now available: bank transfer, PayPal and credit card.

 

At first, the Standard version can contain an unlimited number of passwords while the Free version can contain only 50 passwords. The Standard version allows the user to create and manage folders for more convenient storage of passwords. The user can also recover deleted passwords.

 

Of course. We offer Premium and Corporate packages for companies, which allow you to control users, groups and their roles and link them to your LDAP/Active Directory/Entra ID.

 

In addition to having unlimited password storage and the ability to manage personal folders, business users with Admin/Manager roles can manage users (create, edit, assign roles and user groups), create shared folder structures and share folders and passwords. They can change security settings and the web interface. Business users can also access their PassSecurium™ via VPN and use SSO (via your AD).

 

PassSecurium™ requires Android 8 or later and iOS 14 or later.

A password generator provides assistance with the creation of passwords. You can select the complexity and length of the password in advance, and then create a strong, random password.

On the Portal you can:

  • turn on two-factor authentication (2FA) for web access to the app and Portal. 2FA is implemented via the AccessSecurium™ (or similar) app available for Android and iOS – install AccessSecurium™, turn on 2FA in your Portal and scan QR codes by AccessSecurium™;
  • change your info and passwords;
  • check and change your subscriptions and invoices;
  • create a ticket if you found a bug or PassSecurium™ works inappropriately.

Enterprise users can access an analogue of the Portal: Controlium. You can get into it through the main page of your company's SWISS SECURIUM services (if you don't have a link, please contact your admin).

You can increase the security of your PassSecurium™ web access by using two-factor authentication. With 2FA, to access your PassSecurium™ storage, you need an additional code generated by the AccessSecurium™ (or similar) authenticator app (available for Android and iOS). And don't forget to protect the mobile application: enable security code or biometric authentication. You can also activate the auto logout interval for PassSecurium™.

You should log into your Customer Portal https://portal.pass-securium.ch/en/ (Free/Standard users) with your current credentials and change password in the <Security> section.

Business (Premium/Corporate) users can change their passwords in the <Profile> menu section in the PassSecurium™ web app. Their passwords can also be reset by their PassSecurium™ instance admins.

Enterprise users can do this in their Controlium cabinets in the <Profile> section. Their passwords can also be reset by their platform admins.

Android user:

  • Go to the Menu by tapping the menu (burger) icon in the upper left corner of the app;
  • Tap the down arrow right under your account name to see the account list;
  • Scroll it to the end and choose the menu item <Manage Accounts>;
  • Choose an account you want to log in to;
  • Enter the new valid password and press the <Change> button. The app will remember the new password.

iOS user:

  • Find the necessary account on the login screen of the app;
  • Tap on the three-dot menu icon;
  • Enter the new password in the appeared form and save changes.

Yes, you can have multiple PassSecurium™ accounts with different subscription types in a single mobile app.

iOS:

  • To add an existing account, just tap on <+ Add account> on the login screen, choose the account type and fill in your credentials.
  • To register a new private account, tap on <+ Add account>, then tap on the <Register Free account> button and proceed to the registration.

Android:

  • Go to the account list in the app menu, scroll it down and tap in <+ Add account> to add an existing account or tap on <Register Free account> to create a new private account.

 

Android:

Tap on the menu (burger) icon in the upper left corner of the app to open the main menu. Tap on the down arrow icon under your account name and choose another account in dropdown list. In the upper menu row, you can choose one of the two round icons on the left which are the first two accounts from the dropdown account list.

iOS:

You can see the account list on the login screen of the mobile app. When you are into the account, tap on the user icon in the right upper corner of the app and you will return to the login page.

Yes, you can add existing accounts, create new Free and Standard* accounts or remove accounts from the PassSecurium™ app (the complete deletion of the account with all your data can be done via your Customer Portal). More options are available in your Customer Portal.

*purchasing the Standard subscription through the mobile app is currently available for iOS only.

 

iOS:

  • Find the necessary account on the login screen of the app;
  • Tap the three-dot menu icon;
  • Tap the <Delete> option and confirm.

Android:

  • Go to the account list;
  • Scroll it till the end and choose the menu item <Manage Accounts>;
  • Choose the account you want to delete;
  • Tap on the bucket icon in the upper right corner of the app and confirm to delete.

Please keep in mind that this feature just removes the account from your app. It doesn't erase all your account data and doesn't terminate your subscription. You can request the deletion of your account by sending an email to support@pass-securium.ch or by using the form in your Customer Portal.

MANAGEMENT

Yes. PassSecurium™ can be used in all situations and on all your devices. You can use the App on smartphones and tablets or use the browser version on laptops or desktops.

You can also access your PassSecurium™ through the browser extension available for Chrome/Brave/Opera, Firefox and Edge.

 

You should clear the PassSecurium™ data in your phone’s Settings -> Apps -> PassSecurium™  (for Android) or reinstall the app (for iOS). You'll need to re-login to all your PassSecurium™ accounts with your login and password.

We strongly recommend that you enable biometric authentication.

 

You should log into your Customer Portal (Free / Standard users) https://portal.pass-securium.ch/en/ and change your account password as soon as possible.

Enterprise users can change passwords in their Controlium cabinets or by contacting company's admin.

To enable 2FA for your web app or portal:

  1. Go to PassSecurium™ web portal
  2. Log in and switch to the “Security” menu section. You can enable 2FA for PassSecurium™ web app and portal separately on respective tabs: “PassSecurium™ APP” or “Only for customer portal”.
  3. Turn the “two-Factor Authentication with OTP” switch ON, then enter you current password for the customer portal to confirm the action.
  4. Click “Show OTP / QR code”, scan it with AccessSecurium™ or another authenticator app and click the “Next” button to finish the 2FA activation. You’ll need to generate an OTP in your authentication app and enter it in the appeared field.
  5. Next time you log into your portal or app, you’ll need to enter an OTP code in addition to your password.
  1. You need to enable the autofill feature through the appropriate menu section in your PassSecurium™ app.
  2. When using a browser or other apps which have login forms, you can tap on the empty field and the “Autofill” option will appear, if it hasn’t appeared, keep your finger on the field until the “Autofill” option appears. Tan on it and choose PassSecurium™ as your autofill method.
  3. You’ll be prompted to log into PassSecurium™ (you can enable biometrics to simplify the process) and then you’ll see a list of available for autofill records. Scroll through them to find the necessary one, and tap on it to fill the fields.

You don’t need to run the app in background. If PassSecurium™ isn’t active, the autofill feature will activate the app.

  1. You need to go to the Settings menu (the gear icon) and select the <Autofill> option. You’ll see the instructions with links.
  2. Follow the link to the phone settings and choose PassSecurium™ to autofill passwords. Now you are ready to use the function.
  3. When you want to autofill a form, tap on the key icon in the top right corner of the keyboard, choose the necessary password and it will fill in the form.

This application has been specially developed so that the passwords can be viewed even without an Internet connection. Changes cannot be made in offline mode.

 

Password menu provides following functions:

  • Fast copying of login or password;
  •  Password editing and deletion.

Folder menu allows editing, deletion or folder moving (by choosing parent folder).

 

You can turn on multiple action mode by tapping on the tick icon in the upper menu row of the app. You can perform mass deletion of ticked passwords or mass deletion or moving of ticked folders. If you tap on arrow icon in upper left corner of the app you will leave multi-action mode.

 

Yes, you can restore changed data. You can view the item history in the web version of the app (when you click on the password record, you can see the password menu on the rigth; go to the <history> tab and restore the previous change by clicking on the round arrow icon next to it). Password changes history is stored for 30 days.

The feature is available for the Standard, Business and Enterprise users.

 

This feature checks whether your password and email have previously been revealed in a data breach. When you create or edit a password record, this feature shows the alert about compromised credential.

 

PassSecurium™ was initially designed for group work. The access rights are assigned based on roles (Admin, Manager, User) and user groups. Only authorized users have access to the passwords intended for them with specified permissions.

Each action performed on a password in PassSecurium™ is logged and can be undone. Change logs are available individually for each password record and in the history report. In addition, sensitive passwords can be "sealed". The authorized manager is informed by email every time such passwords are edited.

The manual export or import of the passwords is possible at any time in PassSecurium™. Excel and CSV formats are supported. We also support the CSV formats from LastPass and KeePass.

In addition, there is the possibility of an individual setup of automatic export of the passwords in the form of an encrypted archive (available for Business and Enterprise subscriptions).
